Assistant Manager - (Corporate Accounts)

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the finance function of multiple legal entities by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective controls, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery of financial information. You will work closely with senior management, internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners to support sound financial decision-making and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
Oversee monthly closing activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis
Monitor financial performance and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, and company policies
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support the timely completion of audit processes
Review tax computations, GST returns, income tax filings, and other statutory submissions
Maintain effective financial controls and identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and processes
Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, fund management, and timely settlement of outstanding balances
Prepare financial analyses and reports for senior management and other relevant stakeholders
Assist with the implementation of finance projects, systems, and process improvements
Guide and support finance team members through knowledge sharing, review, and day-to-day coordination
Qualifications & Experience
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5-12 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts & Finance
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Relevant post-qualification experience in financial accounting, management reporting, audit, or corporate finance
Strong experience in month-end closing, statutory audit, taxation, and financial reporting
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis
Experience working with finance systems and accounting software
Skills & Competencies
Strong technical knowledge of India accounting standards, financial controls, and statutory compliance
Hands-on experience with GST, income tax returns, monthly closing, fund management, and statutory audits
Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Team Handling experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and standard financial systems
Fluency in English
