LPSQ Superintendent (m/f/d) Offshore

As an LPSQ Superintendent at BSM, you will be responsible for ensuring that assigned vessels consistently meet international safety, quality, and environmental standards. Acting as a vital link between ship and shore, you will oversee vessel performance, conduct audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Implement safety, quality, and environmental processes across assigned vessels in line with international ship management standards.
Apply technical expertise to verify that offshore vessels meet required technical and operational standards.
Assess vessel conditions, identify improvement areas, and collaborate on solutions to enhance performance and safety.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to procedures or working behaviours.
Conduct offshore vessel visits to evaluate compliance with LPSQ processes, procedures, and company policies, providing recommendations for enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience
B.Sc. in Marine or Naval Engineering, Master’s Certificate, or Chief Engineer’s Certificate.
Sailing experience as Officer or Engineer, or experience in an HSEQ / LPSQ function (favorable).
Experience in the offshore sector (favorable).
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of quality, safety, and environmental standards and related legislation.
Experience in customer management and maritime market practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
